Chief Executive Officer Tony Taylor Resigns

Police Bank Limited today announces the resignation of its Chief Executive Officer Tony Taylor, effective 4th October 2019.

Tony served as Police Bank CEO for approximately 3 and a half years beginning February 2016.

He joined the bank at an important time of change after the resignation of the former long-term CEO and he modernised Police Bank’s thinking around and approach to risk.

Tony also drove the organisation to better connect with its core Police bond, oversaw the rebranding and relaunch of Border Bank, and the merger with what is now the Bank of Heritage Isle in Tasmania.

Police Bank Chair Greg McKenna said, “as an important change agent Tony has prepared Police Bank for the economic and banking headwinds facing the Australian economy and banking sector as we enter the 2020’s”.

We thank him for his dedicated efforts and wish him well for the future.

Mr McKenna announced the Police Bank Board has appointed Police Bank’s Chief Member Officer Andrew Rasby as acting-CEO until further notice.
